If Play Protect blocks install
Because the official APK is downloaded outside the Play Store, Google Play Protect may show a harmful app warning. This is expected — Family Kids is the official family app. To install:
- 1. Open the downloaded APK and choose Install anyway.
- 2. If Play Protect asks to scan, tap Scan app or Install anyway.
- 3. If needed: Settings → Security → Install unknown apps — allow Chrome / Files.
- 4. If still blocked: Play Protect → allow this app (or exclude it from the list).
Note: Only use the APK from family247.app. Installing from Play Store later removes this warning.
