1. Introduction and Acceptance

By using the Family 24/7 application ("App", "Service"), you are deemed to have accepted the following Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application.

These terms cover all features, services, and content of the application.

2. Service Description

Family 24/7 is a family security and tracking application that allows you to track family members' locations in real-time, define safe zones, and view children's phone usage statistics.

Our services include:

  • Real-time location tracking
  • Safe zone (geofence) notifications
  • Location scheduling features
  • Child phone statistics (screen time, app usage)
  • Family member management
  • Push notifications

3. Account Creation and Your Obligations

When creating and using an account, you must comply with the following obligations:

3.1. Accurate Information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. Providing false information may result in suspension or closure of your account.

3.2. Account Security

You are responsible for the security of your account information. Do not share your password with anyone and contact us immediately if you notice suspicious activity.

3.3. Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years old to use the application. Parental consent is required for users between 13-18 years old.

3.4. Legal Use

You must use the application only for legal purposes and in accordance with these terms.

4. Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

4.1. Illegal Activities

  • Using the application for any illegal activity
  • Violating the rights of others
  • Engaging in fraud or deceptive activities

4.2. Abuse

  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the application
  • Using automated bots or scripts
  • Harassing or disturbing other users
  • Sending spam or unwanted content

4.3. Intellectual Property Violation

  • Violating copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Copying, modifying, or distributing the application's source code

4.4. Data Violation

  • Collecting or sharing others' personal information without permission
  • Using application data for unauthorized access

5. Location Tracking and Permissions

Location permissions are required to use the core features of the application:

5.1. Location Permission

The application requires "Always allow" permission for background location tracking. Without this permission, the core features of the application will not work.

5.2. Other Permissions

Additional permissions may be required for child phone statistics (app usage). These permissions are optional and only apply to child accounts.

5.3. Permission Denial

If you do not grant the required permissions, some features of the application may not work. You can change permissions from settings at any time.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1. Free Plan

The Family 24/7 application is offered completely free of charge with its core features:

  • You can download the app for free and start using it immediately without any payment.
  • No credit card or any payment information is required to register.
  • The free plan includes core family tracking features and can be used indefinitely.

6.2. Premium Plan (Optional)

We offer a Premium Plan option to provide our users with a more advanced experience:

  • Premium Plan price: $4.49 (renews every 6 months).
  • Payment method: Secure payment via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Automatic renewal: Subscriptions are automatically renewed every 6 months unless cancelled.
  • Switching to the Premium Plan is completely optional and does not affect free plan users.
  • You can view the additional features offered by the Premium Plan from within the app.

6.3. Advertising Policy

The free version of our application contains advertisements:

  • Advertisements are one of our revenue models that allow us to keep the app free.
  • They are shown in standard ad formats and designed to minimally affect user experience.
  • Users who switch to the Premium Plan enjoy an ad-free experience.
  • If there are any changes to the advertising policy in the future, users will be notified in advance.

6.4. Future Plan Changes

Our application reserves the right to offer new plans (such as different feature packages) in the future. In such a case:

  • Existing users will be informed in advance via email and in-app notifications.
  • Transparent information will be provided about the changes.
  • Explicit consent will be obtained from users for changes that require user approval.
  • If the user does not give consent, their rights under the free plan will continue as is.

6.5. Billing and Payment Processing

If you switch to the Premium Plan:

  • All payments are processed securely through Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Your payment information is processed directly by Google/Apple; we cannot access or store this information.
  • The subscription fee is automatically renewed at the end of each billing period.
  • You can access your billing statements from your Google Play or App Store account.

6.6. Cancellation, Pause, and Refund Policy

Regarding your Premium Plan subscription:

  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play Store or App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period.
  • Pause: Depending on store policies, a subscription pause option may be offered in some cases.
  • Refunds and right of withdrawal: All refund requests are subject to the current refund policies of Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Legal rights applicable to users in the EU/European Economic Area (such as the 14-day right of withdrawal) are reserved.
  • After cancelling your subscription, you may continue to use premium features for the remaining time of the current period.

7. Service Interruptions and Changes

We may interrupt or change our services in the following situations:

7.1. Maintenance

There may be temporary interruptions for regular maintenance, updates, or improvements.

7.2. Emergencies

Services may be interrupted due to technical issues, security threats, or legal requirements.

7.3. Service Changes

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or terminate our services, features, or prices without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer

Our application is provided "as is". We do not accept liability for the following situations:

8.1. Service Interruptions

We are not responsible for damages arising from temporary or permanent service interruptions.

8.2. Data Loss

We are not responsible for damages arising from technical issues, data loss, or data corruption.

8.3. Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services such as Google Maps and Firebase.

8.4. Location Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data. We are not responsible for incorrect locations arising from GPS, WiFi, or base station errors.

8.5. Security

We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmission over the internet. We are not responsible for damages arising from data breaches or security vulnerabilities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the application are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

It is prohibited to copy, modify, distribute, or use the application's content for commercial purposes.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following situations:

10.1. Terms Violation

Your account may be suspended or closed when you violate these Terms of Service.

10.2. Illegal Activity

Your account will be immediately closed when you engage in illegal activities.

10.3. Long-Term Inactivity

When your account is not used for a long time (12 months), your account and data may be deleted.

10.4. Cancellation Right

You can delete your account at any time. When the account is deleted, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In case of any dispute, Turkish courts are authorized.

12. Terms Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will notify you via in-app notification. Changes will be effective from the date they are published on this page.

If you continue to use the application after the changes, you are deemed to have accepted the updated terms.
